Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using TempNova. By accessing or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by the terms described below.

TempNova ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") is a privacy-first web platform developed and operated by Imgira. The Service provides temporary disposable email addresses, virtual SMS phone numbers, URL shortening, self-destructing encrypted links, username generation, credit card mockup tools, and related developer utilities.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TempNova website located at temp-nova.com and all associated subdomains, APIs, browser extensions, and services. By using TempNova, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting, accessing, or using TempNova in any capacity — whether as a guest, registered user, developer using the API, or browser extension user — you expressly accept and agree to these Terms in their entirety. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Imgira, the operator of TempNova. If you are using TempNova on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of TempNova after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

2. Description of Services

TempNova provides the following core utilities, all available free of charge unless otherwise stated:

  • Temporary Disposable Email Addresses: Instantly generate short-lived email inboxes for receiving verification emails, registration confirmations, and newsletters without exposing your personal email address.
  • Virtual SMS Phone Numbers: Generate temporary virtual phone numbers routed through SIM-carrier gateways to receive one-time passwords (OTPs) and verification SMS messages from third-party services.
  • Self-Destructing Encrypted Links: Create client-side encrypted notes and redirect URLs that expire after a set number of views or a defined time period.
  • Privacy URL Shortener: Shorten and anonymize long URLs with referrer-stripping redirect layers that protect your browsing origin.
  • Username Generator: Generate unique, randomized usernames for use on platforms where you wish to maintain pseudonymity.
  • Credit Card Mockup Generator: Create visually accurate, non-functional credit card designs validated against the Luhn algorithm for use in design prototyping and UI development. These are strictly mock data tools — no real financial instruments are created.
  • Chrome Browser Extension: A browser extension that provides one-click generation and auto-fill of temporary email addresses on any web form.
  • Developer APIs: Programmatic access to TempNova email and SMS generation capabilities for integration into automated testing pipelines and QA workflows.

TempNova is provided "as is" and we make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Permitted Use

TempNova is designed exclusively for lawful, ethical, and legitimate purposes. The following are examples of permitted use:

  • Privacy Protection: Shielding your real email address and phone number from spam, data brokers, and unsolicited marketing campaigns when registering on third-party websites.
  • Software Development & QA Testing: Automating user registration flows, testing OTP verification systems, and running CI/CD pipeline checks using programmatic access to TempNova's APIs.
  • Content Preview: Accessing gated content, downloading resources, or evaluating trial services without committing your primary contact information.
  • UI & Design Prototyping: Using credit card mockup data and fake identity profiles for visual design presentations, wireframes, and frontend development demonstrations.
  • Security Research: Testing your own applications' email and SMS verification flows for security vulnerabilities in a controlled research environment.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate service termination and reporting to relevant authorities:

  • Fraud & Identity Theft: Using TempNova to commit payment fraud, impersonate individuals or organizations, submit false legal documents, or engage in any form of identity theft.
  • Phishing & Social Engineering: Creating fake accounts, conducting email phishing campaigns, or using TempNova-generated credentials to deceive others into surrendering personal data or financial information.
  • Illegal Transactions: Using the platform to facilitate the purchase, sale, or distribution of illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, or any content that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
  • Spam & Unsolicited Messaging: Generating bulk temporary email addresses for automated spam campaigns, mailing list poisoning, or mass unsolicited messaging of any kind.
  • Harassment & Abuse: Using temporary phone numbers or email addresses to anonymously harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any individual or group.
  • Child Exploitation: Any use of TempNova to access, share, or distribute content that sexually exploits minors is strictly forbidden and will be reported to law enforcement immediately.
  • Platform Circumvention: Using TempNova to evade account bans, platform age restrictions, security systems, or terms of service of third-party platforms in bad faith.
  • Automated Scraping & Attacks: Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to scrape the TempNova platform, overload servers through denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise disrupt the integrity of the Service.
  • Financial System Abuse: Using mock credit card generator data to attempt unauthorized transactions, bypass payment verification systems, or engage in credit card fraud. This tool is for design prototyping only.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on TempNova — including but not limited to the website design, user interface, code, logos, icons, typography, written articles, and documentation — is the exclusive property of Imgira and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the TempNova platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of TempNova without express written permission from Imgira.

Developer API access grants a limited technical integration license for legitimate software development purposes only. Any reverse engineering, decompilation, or unauthorized extraction of TempNova source code is strictly prohibited.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

TempNova is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available continuously, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

TempNova generates temporary email inboxes and virtual phone numbers from third-party service providers. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the availability, content, or reliability of these underlying API services. The delivery of emails and SMS messages depends on third-party infrastructure and is not guaranteed.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Imgira shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or damage to your devices — arising from your use of, or inability to use, TempNova, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of TempNova shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.00. Since TempNova is a free service, our liability is therefore limited to USD $10.00.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws and the laws of the jurisdiction in which Imgira operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are accessing TempNova from the European Union, you may also have rights under EU consumer protection regulations that cannot be excluded.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of TempNova shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@imgira.site. If informal resolution fails within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or violations of prohibited use provisions.

You agree that any legal action relating to TempNova shall be brought on an individual basis only, and you waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

TempNova may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Imgira. We provide these links for convenience only and do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

TempNova integrates with third-party mail API providers, SMS routing services, Google AdSense for advertising, and Google Analytics for traffic measurement. 9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to TempNova at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited activities, or if your usage poses a threat to the integrity, security, or legal standing of the platform. Because TempNova operates on a stateless, session-based architecture, termination is enacted by blocking your IP address or API token. You may appeal a termination decision by contacting us at support@imgira.site with a detailed explanation.
